چکیده

ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate the physico-chemical characteristics fruits 58 sweet orange tops cultivars on four rootstocks, namely: ‘Sunki Tropical’ mandarin and ‘Trifoliata’ Citrandarin ‘San Diego’, ‘Riverside’ ‘Indio’. For purpose, a completely randomized experimental design used, in factorial scheme (58 x 4). analyzed were: equatorial diameter, fruit mass, peel thickness, number seeds, soluble solids, titratable acidity, Ratio juice yield. All were influenced by both cultivar rootstock, demonstrating that factors interfere physicochemical quality fruits. ‘Pera D-3’, Olimpia’, Bianchi’, ‘Jaffa’ ‘Westin’ all rootstocks evaluated showed their with solids greater than 10 ºBrix, above 9.5 yield 45%, define standards. Also, ‘Sincorá’ rootstock Tropical’, D-25’, ‘Sincorá’, ‘Aquiri’ ‘Russas P.S.’ C-32’, D-6’, E-6’, CE-03 ‘, ‘Salustiana’ are suitable for production industry between 14 16 50%. It is also worth noting ‘Crescent’, ‘Natal Folha Murcha’, ‘Valencia Midknight’ Delta’ produced without seeds rootstocks.

Physico-chemical characteristics of wild plum fruits (Prunus spinosa L.)

The genotypic variation on physico-chemical characteristics of wild grown plums (Prunus spinosa L.) was investigated. The total phenolic contents were in a range of 117 to 407 mg GAE/100 g FW. The vitamin C was highest in yellow colored fruits (12.10 mg/100 ml). The total soluble solid content varied between 9.40% (yellow colored) and 12.90% (dark purple colored) fruits.  Antioxidant activity o...

Effect of Pectinase on the Physico-Chemical Properties of Juice from Pawpaw (Carica papaya) Fruits

A procedure for the preparation of clarified Pawpaw Juice was developed. About 750ml Pawpaw pulp was measured into 2 measuring cylinders A & B of capacity 1 litre heated to 40C, cooled to 20C. 30mls pectinase was added into cylinder A, while 30mls distilled water was added into cylinder B. Enzyme treated sample (A) was allowed to digest for 5hours after which it was heated to 90C for 15 minutes...

Characterization of Nd: Yag Laser Radiation Effects on Ti6Al4V Physico-Chemical Properties: An In Vivo Study

The effect of a Nd: YAG laser (1064 nm) has been studied on Ti6Al4V alloy in terms of optical and physical parameters for biomedical applications. The superior surface microhardness hardness (i.e. 377 VHN) is attributed to grain refinement associated with laser melting and rapid solidification. The electrochemical property, mainly pitting corrosion resistance, has been carried out in Hanks salt...
